Speed Pour is a cocktail recipe lookup and sharing tool. By using it, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use it — no hard feelings.
You're responsible for your account and the content you create. Don't share your login credentials. If you think your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.
Recipes you create belong to you. By marking a recipe as public, you grant Speed Pour and other users a non-exclusive license to display it within the app. You can make any recipe private or delete it at any time, which removes it from other users' libraries.
Using “Riff this” on any recipe creates a new personal recipe in your library — it's yours to edit and share however you like.
You can organize recipes into menus and make them public or private. By marking a menu as public, you allow other users to subscribe to it. Subscriptions are live-linked — when you add or remove recipes from a public menu, subscribers see those changes automatically.
If you make a menu private or delete it, subscribers lose access to that menu. Recipes they've added to their own library through other means are not affected.
You can follow other users to automatically sync their public recipes and menus to your library. When a followed user adds or edits public content, you'll receive in-app notifications after a brief delay. Following is a private relationship — follower counts are not displayed.
Unfollowing a user removes their synced content from your library and unsubscribes you from their menus. Recipes you individually added to your library through other means are not affected.
Houses represent bars, restaurants, or cocktail programs on Speed Pour. House management is a provisioned feature — Houses are created by Speed Pour administrators.
Owners have full control of a House: they can manage the public profile, add and remove managers and staff, create and edit recipes and menus, and publish content. Managers can create and edit recipes and menus, add staff, and see draft content, but cannot promote or remove other managers or edit the House profile. Staff have read-only access to published House recipes and menus.
House recipes, menus, and profile content are owned by the House, not by individual users. If you leave a House or are removed, you lose access to that House's content unless you independently follow the House's public profile.
Staff invites are generated as tokenized links. These links grant access to the House's published content and require account creation. House managers can revoke access at any time.
Don't use Speed Pour to do anything illegal, harmful, or disruptive. Don't impersonate others, spam, or abuse the platform. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.
Speed Pour facilitates links to third-party payment platforms (Venmo, Cash App, PayPal) for user-to-user tips. We do not process, hold, or take a cut of any payments. All transactions are between you and the payment provider. We are not responsible for disputes, refunds, or issues with third-party payment services.
Classic cocktail recipes are provided as general references — including any technique notes, tags, or suggested specs. These vary by bar, region, and era. Speed Pour makes no guarantee that any recipe is “correct” — use your bartender judgment. User-submitted recipes are the responsibility of their creators.
You can delete your account at any time through the app. Deleting your account permanently removes your profile, personal recipes, menus, follows, notifications, and subscriptions. Your username is held for 30 days before it becomes available again. Public recipes and menus are removed from all subscribers' and followers' libraries. If you are the sole owner of a House, you must transfer ownership or delete the House before deleting your account.
We do our best to keep Speed Pour running, but we can't guarantee 100% uptime. The app is designed to work offline after first load, so you should be covered during service interruptions.
We may update these terms from time to time. Significant changes will be noted in our release notes. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
